Introducing George Doggett, an oil & gas industry professional certified to educate, train, and assist clients with the complexities of radiation and explosives safety compliance for offshore and onshore operations. George has served as a corporate quality and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) professional in varying capacities since he entered wireline operations over 40 years ago. His roles have included Vice-President for Corporate Compliance; Corporate Radiation Safety Officer; Senior Director of QHSE Drilling and Completions; Corporate Director of Explosives, Radiation, and Offshore Safety; and North American HSE Manger.
Through his time in these roles, he has helped companies achieve local, state, and federal regulatory compliance and target goal-zero safety management programs through incident investigations, procedure development and standardization of safety reporting, client-aligned safety training, and implementation of corrective actions.
George’s years of field service experience qualifies his understanding of cased-hole wireline operations and equipment maintenance (subsurface and surface), including activities surrounding high pressure control expertise for offshore and land. His priority has always been the safety of his team and his clients while understanding and thoroughly implementing reliable measures to address business obligations for his clients’ wellsite operations.
George has previously been authorized by the NRC and Louisiana and is currently recognized by the Texas Department of State Health Services, Industrial Licensing Program, Radiation Section to provide 24-hour well logging supervisor training. He has previously been certified by the Louisiana State Police to provide a 16-hour explosive safety certification course that he prepared and developed for the authorized use of oilfield explosives.George is currently pursuing recertification to offer this training again.

Express Drilling Fluids
Express Drilling Fluids was a gasoline, diesel fuel and lubricant distributor. We supplied products to local customers and commercial suppliers in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. I was the DOT Manager from May 2020 through May 2024.
Express Pressure Pumping
Express Pressure Pumping is a hydraulic fracturing and pump down oil field service company that started in March 2021 through May 2024. I assumed the DOT Manager position in conjunction with the DOT Manager position at Express Drilling Fluids. Express Pressure Pumping operates in the Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma area.
C&J Energy Service / NexTier Oilfield Solutions
Was hired as a DOT Coordinator in August 2011 and promoted to the position of Sr. DOT Manager through May 2020. C&J Energy Services/NexTier is an oil field service company operating through out the United States. Services included hydraulic fracturing, pump down, wireline and logging, coil tubing and fluids transportation.
Texas Department of Public Safety
Started with the Texas Department of Public Safety in January 1979 and retired in August 2011 with 32 years of service. Was assigned to the Texas Highway Patrol Service as a Trooper and retired as a Sr. Trooper with Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Service enforcing all FMCSA and Texas intrastate rules and regulation to ensure motor carrier safety.

Under his leadership, he has successfully developed and implemented comprehensive safety management systems and policies, conducting regular safety meetings with management teams to review and discuss safety objectives, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards.
